"Sun! Surf! Snow! I am in a tropical paradise! I am in a tropical paradise!" My mantra for the past few weeks as Toronto's refrigerating system reaches all time lows. As promised, I am only drawing girls in bikinis until the weather grows warmer. However, I couldn't resist a little tongue in frost-bitten cheek humour...they say draw what you know! Well, it snowed here the entire weekend. I've almost forgotten what a sandy beach looks like, but I still remember how to draw a girl in a bikini.
Warmest regards,

I love it, especially after two days of shoveling snow.
Brian - Precisely. I do believe it can stop snowing at any time now!

I left the image up for my sweetie to see and she loved it to.

That swimsuit must be thermal lined!
These are great! I don't know how you do it, living in weather like that...
This is a good idea. Winter can be a cold, dark place. I've been drawing every day to help clear the cobwebs.
Paul - Or she's just oblivious to the cold! I wish I were so oblivious!
Rory - You stay indoors a lot, wear thermal underwear and curse! Curse the cold. Curse the ice. Curse the slush. Boy, is Canadian Summer ever something to look forward to, you betcha!
David - It certainly helps to have a sense of humour about it. Naturally, it's one thing to laugh in a drawing...it's altogether more difficult to laugh when walking your dog and it's 30 below (that's the Celsius-ometer).
