Ah, how I am loving to draw Wonder Woman! She is just so perfect and wonderful in her satin tights, fighting for our rights and the old red, white and blue!
This was drawn and printed out for a birthday card! Happy Birthday!
j you are my inspiration. And I aspire to draw like you one day. That's why I would like to ask you two things.
1. What do you use to ink with? India ink or what? Your linework is fantastic. 2. What program do you use to color? And what do you think of Coral Painter 9.5?
Maybe you could do a tutorial of how you take a piece from concept to what we see here. That would just be unreal. Sort of get an insight into how genius works.
Anonymous - And thank you, too. I'm very flattered! I ink with Faber Castell Pitt pens mainly the Brush and Fine to Superfine tips. It took a lot of practice with them to get the lines that I like...I was a brush dipped in ink man up until I converted to Pitt for speed.
Colouring is done in Photoshop 7.0. I've never used any other programs for colour. Being sort of old fashioned and not too fancy in my colouring, I like the flat colours I get in Photoshop.
I'm definitely working on putting together a tutorial because it's been asked for a lot lately! This Wonder Woman image might be the perfect thing to use since I actually still have the rough drawing (usually roughs end up in the recycle bin).
