We're in the middle of another heat wave here in Toronto...all the more reason to draw some frosty snow queens to cool things down. I drew these ladies in Photoshop on my Wacom - all digital. I've been messing around with digital art now, just a little. I still love inking traditionally but I can play with color more when I work on the computer.
Hope you're all having a good summer, or winter if you're on the other side of the World!
best,

These are brilliant! Love the use of negative space.
Great work!
Do you "feel" any difference between drawing with the tablet vs traditional?

Cool and Hot all at the same time. Love them.
Justin - Thanks.
James - There is definitely a hand/eye difference. I'm drawing on a Wacom and looking at my computer screen. At first it was uncomfortable but I'm quite used to it now. Sometimes I do have trouble seeing where the pen tool is on the "page". I like the sketchiness of my drawings. It's something I don't do often in my analogue work, preferring the smoothness of a brush line.
Brian - Cool. Thanks, man.
