I really LOVE the issues that you've done, and I keep them ON my drawing board for inspiration (and the issue of Batman: Brave and Bold, too...I too heart the Doom Patrol!)

AND--yeah--your design work is influencing me in a GOOD way. I study your stuff because I need to LOOSEN up and not do such stiff design work. I need to be a tad more free in my designs, and your work really is an inspiration!

Thanks,

MPHMPHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04259554121175024554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16726169.post-47631032090165764572009-11-07T18:01:17.658-08:002009-11-07T18:01:17.658-08:00TJ Lubrano - Thanks! Thanks, man.

James Figueiredo - Sketchbook got delayed a little while I finished up some work and my computer repeatedly crashed. New computer now and I'm back on track. (moving too slow, though...gotta get crackin')
I'm wearing a green hat in one of the pictures (also pulling a face there...but I was mid-face and end up looking like a half-wit)

Johnny B - Thanks for the info, Mr. Know-it-all! :) Want to see Louie inked? You will. Colored, too!

Jon - I'm gonna have to look up the Justice League story in which they appear! I played them more like well dressed gangsters than science-guys! Hope you're doing well, man! :)

Bob - Thanks. You're right...same thing applies to insanity. If you think you're insane you're probably not. The truly insane are convinced it's everyone else who's nuts! :)
Oh, Terrax, villain of the FF, is pretty dumb.

James M. - Gracias!

MPH - Hope my design is rubbing off in a good way. A monthly would be fun. Right now I'm really enjoying the freedom to do many different things. You also seldom see a bad guy who is really dumb (unless he is a henchman). Good villains are the life blood of hero stories, so it is cool that you are so good at doing them.
Come visit.Bob Lillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04589376685249725418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16726169.post-32012663843024479532009-11-06T09:04:10.790-08:002009-11-06T09:04:10.790-08:00Super-solid depictions of these scientists, J!
